4-Day Incredible Private Safari Inside the Kruger Park Itinerary
We will pick you up from Johannesburg International Airport or your hotel and give a guided journey to Kruger National Park. Your guide will explain what you are seeing, including history, culture, and landscape.
When you arrive at the Kruger entry gate, you will enter the reserve and immediately go on a game drive to see the animals on your way to the camp where you will stay. After reserving your accommodation inside the Kruger National Park, Crocodile Bridge (or similar), you will go on your first short game drive to acquire a feel for the African wilderness. The duration of the journey will be determined by the time we leave the airport and how exhausted you, the weary traveler, are. The freedom that comes with having your own private guide and car is another significant advantage. Your experienced and educated guide will show you all there is to see while also catering to any specific hobbies you may have, such as photography or bird watching.
Main Destination: Kruger National Park.
Accommodation: Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp
Wake up before dawn to get a head start on the game; this is the greatest time to see it since nocturnal creatures are still active and other animals utilize the cool of the morning to migrate to watering holes. Take in the sights and fragrances while experiencing Africa at its best! Continue on before pausing for a catered breakfast provided outside at a picnic location with breathtaking views of the surrounding bushveld while wildlife comes down to drink.
During the heat of the day, return to camp (unless you want to continue game watching; after all, this is a private safari) and rest by the pool or beneath the garden trees while identifying the various birds seen here. Just before nightfall, you will go in an open safari vehicle with the Kruger Rangers for a 3-hour night drive with spotlights. Once you get back to camp, your guide will prepare a delicious meal for you over open coals and under the African sky.
Main Destination: Kruger National Park.
Accommodation: Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp.
This day begins similarly to the previous day, with an early start to catch the worm (or lion) and a 3-hour open vehicle game drive. You will travel to another region of the park to get some diversity, checking off new species on your ever-growing animal list. Along the way, stop at a nice and private location for some breakfast munchies and a well-deserved cup of coffee. You will return to the camp for a cooked breakfast before checking out and leaving for your next camp.
Continue at a slow pace while the surroundings change before your eyes. Upon arriving at your new camp, check in and clean up. Later, go on your afternoon game drive. Again, your guide will locate a perfect site to have a few sundowners and afternoon snacks of cheese, biscuits, and traditional South African biltong while gazing out over the huge savannah! Return to camp, then gather around the campfire to tell tales about the day. Dinner will be served beneath the stars again!
Main Destination: Kruger National Park.
Accommodation: Satara Rest Camp.
Take your third and last game drive in an open safari vehicle with the Kruger guides. You will depart before daylight and return to camp for a cooked breakfast before checking out. We will take a short drive around the park as we go toward the departure gate, hoping to get one final sight of anything unique. Then it is off to the airport, where you will leave with fond recollections of a great time.
At this point, you may visit the Blyde River Canyon on your way back to Johannesburg, or stay an additional night if you want to explore the area thoroughly. Please let us know whether you want this option when you inquiry.
