Overview

One of the unfenced reserves in the Greater Kruger, which is close to the well-known Kruger National Park, is Balule Private Game Reserve, also called Balule Nature Reserve. Day 1 :

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

A luxury tour van picks up guests early in Johannesburg and drives them to the Greater Kruger. With a rest stop on route, the travel takes five to six hours. Before leaving for a late afternoon game drive in Balule Private Game Reserve, arrive in the middle of the day, eat a light lunch, and unwind at camp. On balmy evenings, head back to camp as the sun sets and have a wonderful group meal by the fire.

Spend the night at Greenfire Game Lodge in an opulent suite.

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Kruger National Park

Wake up early for warming drinks before departing for a three-hour dawn game drive in Balule Private Game Reserve. After witnessing the sunrise over the African Savannah, we return to the resort for a wonderful breakfast and relax in camp. Depart late in the afternoon for a sunset game drive.

Stay in a luxurious suite at Greenfire Game Lodge.

Greater Kruger to Johannesburg

As the sun rises, head out on your final game drive in Balule Private Game Reserve. Enjoy a late breakfast before checking out. We left late in the morning for our return trip to Johannesburg. Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg late afternoon, about 5:00pm.
