Day 1 :

Johannesburg – Arathusa Safari Lodge

The trip to the Greater Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga takes around 6 hours, departing at 7:00 am from the Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport Bus Terminal. It transports you from the expansive highveld to the picturesque lowveld and down the escarpment.

You will arrive at the lodge around lunchtime after making a few stops along the route for snacks and drinks. After the lengthy trip, take a shower before heading out for a late-afternoon game drive in the reserve. We shall have dinner outside beneath the stars in the boma.

The main location is Sabi Sands, or Arahusa Game Reserve.

Day 2 :

(Day two-four) Morning and afternoon open vehicle safari drives

You must wake up early and after grabbing a hot coffee and some rusks, head out on a game drive before dawn.

After brunch, you will head back to the lodge, where you may unwind by the pool, in the lounge, or on exploration of the property. Around 4:00 pm, you will go on your afternoon game drive so you can get back in time for a starry supper in the boma.

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve (Greater Kruger) is the primary destination.

Before leaving on your final morning game drive in the reserve, you get up early for a hot coffee and some rusks.

You see another African dawn, then head back to the resort for breakfast before leaving in the middle of the morning to make your way back to Johannesburg.

It will be late afternoon when you get to your location, about five o'clock.
