Day 1 :

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Start your journey in Nairobi. Set off for Amboseli National Park and arrive just in time to enjoy a leisurely lunch afterward. Set off on your inaugural game drive during the safari, taking place in the afternoon from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. On this game drive, you will witness the thrilling sight of animals emerging from their shelters to enjoy their final meal of the day and bask in the sun, particularly the reptiles. The kobs and other grazing animals will gather together as the day comes to a close, settling in for a night of rest.

Amboseli National Park is renowned for offering an incredible opportunity to encounter free-ranging elephants up close. The park offers breathtaking vistas of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain on the planet. As the sun sets, you will enjoy a delightful dinner before settling in for the night at your cozy lodge.

Prepare for an exhilarating early morning game drive from 6:00am to 9:00am, where you will embrace the beauty of the African sunrise. A morning game drive offers an exhilarating experience as you witness the vibrant activity of wildlife, all eager to embark on their daily quest for sustenance across the expansive savannah grassland. Head back to your lodge to enjoy a hearty breakfast. Set off for an exhilarating day filled with excitement, armed with a delicious picnic feast. As the sun blazes overhead, a multitude of animals congregate by the riverbanks, seeking refreshment and relief from the heat. Meanwhile, the elusive big cats remain hidden from sight. However, as twilight descends, the landscape transforms, and a variety of creatures emerge to explore the night. Amboseli is home to all members of the Big Five, present here throughout the year. The park boasts an impressive array of bird species, featuring 470 recorded varieties, including numerous migrants, with nearly 60 of them being raptors. Your evening meal and night’s rest await you at the lodge.
