During this five-day tour, you can explore the wide plains of Kruger National Park with an experienced private nature guide who will serve as your host for this unforgettable experience. You will marvel at the famous sights along the Panorama Route and witness wildlife from the unusual vantage point of a riverboat on the powerful Olifants River. The safari includes lodging, several meals, a round-trip airport shuttle, and all the activities listed.

Day 1 :

Panorama Route Tour

We take an early shuttle from O.R. Tambo Airport (07h45) and go to the Drakensberg Mountains, where your private safari guide will meet you. While traveling to your first safari site this afternoon, you will take in the breathtaking views of the well-known Panorama Route. Get a good night's sleep in a mid-range lodge in Phalaborwa, which is well situated near the Kruger National Park entrance gate, in preparation for an early morning safari the following day. The resort has a restaurant where you may have dinner (on your own expense).

Day 2 :

(Day two-three) Kruger Park Safari

We set out early today for our safari trip. In addition to finding the greatest animal sightings, your professional nature guide will provide you with extensive background information on the behavior and natural habitat of the animals. You may see animals in the wild and have a great view point over tall shrubs and trees when traveling in an open safari vehicle. To commemorate your safari journey, your guide cooks a fantastic supper in the evening.

Optional: Take a nighttime drive or go on a guided bush walk with rangers from Kruger Park.

Day 3 :

(Day two-three) Kruger Park Safari

Day 4 :

Game Drive and Riverboat Safari

Enjoy your final safari drive before we depart the national park around noon. After we drop you off at Olifants River Lodge in Phalaborwa, you may take part in a riverboat safari on the Olifants River at sunset. From the unique observation position of a riverboat at dusk with complementary sunset cocktails, you have many additional chances to witness various animal species in a private wildlife reserve. You pay for dinner in the lodge's restaurant.

Day 5 :

Return to Johannesburg

We return to the shuttle departure site after a leisurely breakfast with a view of the riverside, where your shared shuttle is waiting for your return to O.R. Tambo Airport. About 17:30 is when your safari excursion comes to an end.
