5-Day Luxury Safari in Klaserie & Timbavati South Africa

Travel to Hoedspruit Airport in the Kruger National Park by plane from OR Tambo International, Johannesburg, South Africa. From there, you will be welcomed and driven to Simbavati Camp George. From 'bush' exploration to learning about and comprehending the nuances of the creatures and their ecosystems, Camp George offers a 360° natural experience. With a front-row seat, the private Klaserie Private Nature Reserve offers wildlife drives, guided bush walks, and night drives, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in nature. A few amazing animal sights to look forward to are leopard, elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, hippo, and wild dog. The sounds of awakening animals and the tracking of large game during your first game drive signal the start of each day. After breakfast, head back to camp and unwind by the pool or on the verandah. Following a delectable midday meal, go on a two- to three-hour evening safari with your knowledgeable ranger. This will be followed by a sundowner in the "bush" and a sumptuous three-course supper at the camp.

After a filling breakfast and your morning game drive at Camp George, travel by road from Camp George to the Simbavati Hilltop Tented Camp. In the Timbavati Private Game Reserve, a fenced-in yet segregated area of Kruger Park, Hilltop has one of the best locations. positioned atop a hill with expansive views across the surrounding vegetation and the far-off Drakensberg escarpment mountains. Below are the vast Nhlaralumi River and the Mbali Dam, where elephants and other animals may be seen arriving to drink. With eight roomy tented suites connected to the main lodge by wooden walkways, this opulent tented lodge boasts a romantic, light-filled, and airy atmosphere. Savor the hospitality of their friendly staff and knowledgeable rangers who will take you on memorable safari and gastronomic adventures. Timbavati, which is a part of the Greater Kruger Park, provides great opportunities to see the Big Five among other wildlife. Game drives twice a day offer up-close views of both big and small creatures, including birds.

Following a last breakfast and game drive in the early morning, pack your luggage and bid farewell to the staff at Hilltop Tented Camp. Then, head to Hoedspruit Airport to continue your travels to Johannesburg or Cape Town.  You will let us know where you need to be dropped off. Or you would like to continue with adventures, we can make those arrangements for you.
