Overview

Experience game watching in Southern and Central Kruger Parks, as well as a visit to the Blyde River Canyon. This trip includes eight safari drives in the Big Five locations, as well as bush walks on request for an extra fee. Spend the first two nights at Sabie River Bush Lodge before heading up to Satara Camp, which is well-known for lion sightings on the wide plains. Day 1 :

Transfer to Kruger National Park - Afternoon Safari Drive - Check into River Lodge

Our professional Kruger Park guide will pick you up and drive you out of Johannesburg in a 7-seater air-conditioned microbus. You will journey east across the Highveld farmlands to the Lowveld city of Nelspruit/Mbombela, the capital of Mpumalanga province. After lunch, you'll enter Southern Kruger Park for your first thrilling game drive. You'll go through moderately forested bushveld, where you could glimpse antelope, giraffes, and elephants. We will travel a short distance to Sabie River Bush Lodge before dusk and spend the night there. You'll be assigned to a lodge room or an en-suite Safari tent with air conditioning and contemporary amenities. Relax on the deck, looking out over the vast Sabie River, hoping to glimpse hippos or crocodiles. Your guide will plan a three-course supper at the Gecko Lapa restaurant. WiFi is accessible, allowing you to communicate with family and friends.

Day 2 :

Full Day Game Viewing in Southern Kruger Park - Return to River Lodge

An early start with a quick cup of coffee, then board the safari vehicle for your dawn wildlife drive across Kruger Park. Travel through bushveld and maybe along the river in search of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). The Sabie River is a prominent feature of southern Kruger, and traveling along its banks may be fascinating. After roughly 3 hours, arrive at a campsite where your guide will give breakfast packets and let you to relax. Continue on the mid-morning journey, stopping at any notable sightings recorded for the day. Around lunchtime, stop for refreshments, peruse the curio store, and continue with the afternoon drive, which ends at Sabie River Bush Lodge. After a swim or some relaxation, enjoy sundowners on the deck overlooking the Sabie River, which provides one of the greatest photo possibilities "on safari in Africa". Join your guide for supper at a licensed restaurant with a daily menu.

Day 3 :

Transit game drive to Satara Camp in Central Kruger Park – Sunset Game Drive in open plains

Day 4 :

Sunrise Game Drive - Panorama Route visiting Blyde River Canyon & other attractions

Pack up, have a quick coffee, and embark for your final morning game drive to Kruger Park's departure gate. Review your checklist as you head to a country eatery for breakfast. The rest of the day is spent exploring along the Panorama Route, which includes visits to the spectacular 3 Rondavels in Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, and other sites. Time to peruse the informal marketplaces for African curios and have lunch. Drive down Kowyn's Pass to Hazyview and stay at one of the four-star hotels (Hippo Hollow Country Estate or Hazyview Sun Hotel), which have a pool, bar, and restaurant. Your guide will set a table for dinner and inquire about any particular diets.

Day 5 :

Leisurely breakfast - Transfer to Johannesburg

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel while reviewing the highlights of your safari and the tourist sites in the Lowveld region. It is a fertile agricultural area, particularly for subtropical fruits. Depart Hazyview, travel through orchards and woodlands to Nelspruit/Mbombela, then return to the Highveld. Arrive in Johannesburg at O R Tambo Airport or a nearby hotel at 16h00. Please allow 1.5 hours for local connections and 3.0 hours for international flights.
