2-Day 3-Star Pilanesberg Safari

This tour includes an early morning pickup from Johannesburg or Pretoria to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The two- to three-hour journey includes an optional en route breakfast break.

The game drive begins at 09:00–9:15 am and lasts 2½ to 3 hours, depending on animal sightings. Lunch is served at the Pilanesberg Centre from 12:00 to 13:00, after which visitors will continue to the Manyane Resort.

The afternoon game drive lasts 2½ to 3 hours, starting between 16h00 and 16h30. Following the wildlife drive, guests return to the lodge for dinner. Your overnight accommodations are in thatched cottages.

The package includes travel, game drives, and lodging. Guests pay for their own meals and drinks.

Start your day with hot drinks before heading out for a 2½ to 3-hour morning game drive in an open safari vehicle. Again, the actual length of the game drive is determined by what you see and how long you stop to observe animals. Return to Manyane and enjoy a wonderful breakfast made by your guide.

Around 11:00 a.m., we pack up and depart the resort. We go into the bushveld in our closed tour van for our final game drive in Pilanesberg. At midday, we stop for lunch and drinks at the Pilanesberg Centre (on your own expense) before leaving the game reserve for the return trip to Johannesburg.

You should anticipate returning to the city between 17:30 and 18:30. The precise time depends on where you need to be dropped off and the late afternoon traffic.
