Overview

This tour is brief, but it provides the opportunity to view the Big Four. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park and the most easily accessible from Dar es Salaam. It spans 3,230km² (1,250mi²) and is located between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi is home to buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, birds, and a variety of other species.
